n miami claims highest room occupancyGreater Miami and the Beaches area claims to have achieved the highest average US hotel room occupancy for the first quarter of this year with 80%, ahead of New York and Oahu in Hawaii. This follows the building of an extra 3,000 rooms in Miami over the last 15 months, with another 2,400 planned for the end of this year.
n hilton introduces internet stations
Hilton Hotels Corporation has begun installing Internet stations, known as eKiosks, in the public areas of its properties in the US. They will be introduced in Hilton’s North America hotels over the next three years.
