World Dreams looks to Beach success


LONG-haul operator World Dreams is looking to build sales to Thailand on the back of Leonardo DiCaprio’s new film, The Beach.



The operator has joined forces with Advantage Travel Centres to launch Amazing Thailand, featuring holidays to Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin and northern Thailand. It will be racked by Advantage agents.



World Dreams director Paul Tilling said Dicaprio’s film will generate interest in the destination.



“We anticipate that The Beach will further heighten the profile of Thailand in general, and of Phuket and Koh Samui in particular,” he said.



Prices lead in at £645 per person for five nights at the Cape Panwa Hotel in Phuket.
