Dykes Travel claim
ABTA probes rivalry allegation
ABTA is investigating a complaint by Manchester-based Dykes Travel that its name is being used by a rival agency as part of its Web site address.Clients of Dykes Travel who enter the Web site address www.dykestravel.co.uk are routed through to the Internet site of another agency, Travel-Travel, the trading name of ABTA member Allstars Travel.
Dykes Travel managing partner Geoff Dykes claims Travel-Travel is breaking the ABTA code of conduct, which says members should not use trading names that are not registered with the association.
Travel-Travel supervisor Chris North is looking into the complaint.
