I’m walking from Dorking
I am writing to appeal for sponsorship for a 120-mile walk from Dorking to Dover in aid of the World Wildlife Fund for conservation projects in the Galapagos Islands and mainland Ecuador.As a direct result of the time I spent in the Galapagos this February, I made a promise to give something back to a unique environment where one can swim with some of the earth’s most exotic animals.
On August 19, the aim is to complete the 120 miles from Dorking to Dover with three friends over seven days, walking and camping.
As an incentive to get your friends, colleagues and family to support the walk and the WWF, the sender of every £5 donated will be entered into a draw to win a Galapagos cruise. This prize is sponsored by Bales Worldwide and is also supported by KLMUK and our agent Metropolitan Touring.
