BA gets a big deal from the small agencies

So being small is not important to BritishAirways.

Yes, Iam a small, mainly retail travel agency and hold an International Air Transport Associationlicence toservice my retail clients’needs. On average I ticket £2,500 a month for BAalone. This would average £30,000 a year.

Would other small travel agencies declare to the trade press their ticketed revenue? Let’s just see how much revenue us small agencies generate for BA.

Say 300 small travel agencies were like myself. This would resultin £9m ticketed revenue at risk to BA. Are thesethe sort of losses BAshareholders and the City really want to see?

And what about the extra staff BA would need to cope with inquiries from thepublic that we currently handle.

Move forward BA in a more positive way.
