n marcus hearn puts freeze on policy rates


Marcus Hearn has frozen rates on its Travel World annual policy at £107 for an individual aged up to 64, or £140 to include a spouse, including insurance premium tax. Children under 18 can be added to the policy for £17 each. For individuals aged 64-69, the premium rises to £127.


n aon cork bays and fisher increases cover


Aon Cork Bays and Fisher has increased the professional indemnity cover on its Travel Shop travel agency scheme four-fold to £1m. A full package, which includes cover for property damage, loss of gross income, personal accident and business travel, costs from £450. A basic package starts at £380.


n docleaf launches disaster cover policy


Crisis management specialist Docleaf has launched a disaster contingency insurance policy to cover tour operators. The new policy covers crisis handling costs, travel arrangements for family and friends of those caught in the incident and co-ordination of medical assistance companies.
