Mass support for sales push
HOLIDAYHypermarkets says it has been inundated with support from potential partners who want to be involved in its UKand Ireland holiday promotion in September (Travel Weekly July 17).The retailer is meeting domestic tourist boards, operators and suppliers on August 15 to discuss ways of increasing sales in the domestic market.
Joint opportunities will include slots on its TV screens, touch screen cinema, point-of-sale material, window material, flyers and entry into a voucher booklet to be sent out to existing clients.
Holiday Hypermarkets commercial director Cheryl Powell said:”We’ve had a fantastic response.”
