Advantage to drum up sales with out-of-hours call centre
ADVANTAGE Travel Centres is seeking to generate extra business with an out-of-hours call centre.The service, to be launched onNovember 1, will be open in the evenings from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays and public holidays. Hours will vary according to demand.
Customers calling the 0870 number on Advantage over-branded brochures out of hours will be diverted to the call centre, rather than their nearest Advantage agent as they are during the day.
The consortium’s members have been invited to express interest in tendering for the contract by August 16. Agents who win a contract to operate the call centre will pay 3% of the price of each booking they make to Advantage, regardless of the commission level.
