Bales has introduceddedicated tailor-made sections to its Worldwide brochure. Each destination features two pages of photographs and information on hotels designed to help agents plan independent itineraries. Properties featured in the India section include the Raj Vilas Hotel in Jaipur, Brunton Boatyard in Cochin and Coconut Lagoon Resort in Kerala.


n somak goa clients to receive free city tour


Somak guests travelling to Goa this winter will receive a free half-day city tour which will take in some of the area’s highlights such as Old Goa’s monuments as well as the region’s diverse shopping districts. The offer is open to all14-night packages.


n first choice adds 14-night taj mahal deal


First Choice is introducing a 14-night Taj Mahal and Tiger Trail tour to its Indian Ocean and Kenya brochure valid from November 1. This allows visitors to sample culture and enjoy a taste of India’s wildlife plus six nights on a Goan beach. The lead-in price is £859 per person.


n hyatt Regency to open goa hotel


A Hyatt Regency is due to open in Goa in 2002. It will have 250 rooms, a grand ballroom, shopping village and 30 three-bedroom villas, linked to the hotel via a canal.


n manos offers new properties in goa


Manos has added several new properties in Goa to its second-edition brochure. One of these is the Santiago Resorts Hotel in Calangute. The lead-in price for seven nights’ all-inclusive is £517 per person.
