n scandinavian starts copenhagen service
Scandinavian Airlines is launching a thrice-daily service between Birmingham and Copenhagen. From November 20, departure times will be at 6.50am, 10.50am and 6.50pm, offering business and economy-class services. Same-day return fares with a £100 discount and Fly SAS and Stay Free products (where the first night with a Radisson SAS Hotel is free) will also be available. The new service will give onward connections from Copenhagen to other parts of Scandinavia, Delhi and the Far East.
n London city airport sees record intake
London City Airport saw a record 140,920 customers pass through its Docklands terminal last month, an increase of 17% compared to the same period last year. The previous passenger intake record of 139,487 was set in June. The load factor for July also rose to 61% compared to 54% in the same month last year.
