Group signs up new members
THE DESIGN Hotels Group consortium has signed up four new members.The consortium, that already boasts the trendy Metropolitan Hotel and Great Eastern Hotel in London, was established in 1993 to provide marketing and global representation for contemporary design-led hotels all over the world.
It now has 81 member hotels in its portfolio.
Of the four new hotels, two are based in London. The Circus Apartments are located near Canary Wharf and will target international corporate clients with links to The City.
The second London property, No 5 Maddox Street is situated in the West End
It has also added the five-star Side Hotel in Hamburg which is not due to open until spring next year and the Hotel Monna Lisa in Paris to the expanding consortium.
