Net agency considers trade site

DREAMTICKET.COM, the newly launched Internet travel agent specialising in early bookings, is looking at creating an on-line booking programme for other travel agents.

The company went live last week after a three-month delay due to technical problems. It offers all summer 2000, winter 2000 and summer 2001 holidays from Virgin, Unijet and First Choice.

Commercial director Jo Rzymowska admitted that in addition to the consumer site, she has already held “a couple of discussions” about creating a similar system for the trade.

Cosmos, Kuoni, Holiday Autos, Travelscene, Worldspan and Unijet should be available on the site by the end of next month after which Rzymowska will look for more suppliers.

Dreamticket.com is still considering its hotel consolidator partner which will offer everything from independent hotels to beach resorts.
