Operator offers 10 new tours
COSMOS Coach Tours has added 10 itineraries to its new America and Canada programme, with planned growth of 10% next year.New tours include the 15-day Heritage Trail and Blue Ridge Mountains, which takes in Washington, Kentucky and the Great Smoky Mountains. Prices start at £1,115.
While fares have remained largely stable, Mumford said it is becoming tough to keep prices down in major US cities including New York and San Francisco.
“Demand is outstripping supply. Contracting for next year and keeping prices on a par with this year has been very hard work,” he said.
The programme has 125 add-on options, while soft-adventure product has also been expanded including whale-watching in Quebec and extensions to the mountain resorts of Whistler and Banff.
Early-booking offers include £100 per couple on selected tours for bookings made before October 31.
Prices lead in at £599 for seven nights in San Francisco and Las Vegas.
