February 22: Asia Travel Marketing Association agents’ workshop in Leeds/Bradford (venue to be confirmed) from 6pm-10pm.
March 7: Hong Kong Tourist Association Contact and Contract – UK tour operators are invited to meet Hong Kong hotels, airlines and ground handlers at the Churchill Intercontinental Hotel, Portman Square, London.
March 28: ATMA agents’ workshop in the Gatwick area (venue to be confirmed) from 6pm-9pm.
April 11-19: educational to Malaysia for 200 UK agents, starting in Kuala Lumpur and visiting Penang, Langkawi, the east coast, Taman Negara, Sabah and Sarawak.
April 10-16: first of three golf educationals to Malaysia for UK tour operators.
May-June: joint roadshow with Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines visiting 16 towns in England, Scotland and Wales.
May 16: ATMA agents’ workshop in the Channel Islands (destination and venue to be confirmed) from 6pm-10pm.
May 27-June 3: second golf educational to Malaysia for UK operators.
June: Tourism Malaysia will host a Malaysia Incentive Seminar in Manchester in early June.
August 6-12: golf educational to Malaysia for UK operators.
August 7-9: Malaysian cultural display at the Millennium Dome.
September: Pacific Asia Travel Association will host its annual showcase where agents are invited to meet hoteliers, airlines and ground handlers from the Asia region. The event will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Hyde Park, London. Date to be confirmed.
