Airtours relocation fails to lure staff
LESS than 35 staff at Going Places in Woking have applied to relocate to Rochdale.An Airtours group spokeswoman said a further 50 jobs in the financial services division will be retained in Surrey. The remainder of the 350 staff will receive redundancy packages.
“We will try to facilitate anyone who wants to move,” she said.
Airtours revealed in June its plans to relocate Going Places and Airtours under one roof in Rochdale.
