n marriott to hold trade expo in september
Marriott International Lodging has announced plans to hold its fourth annual trade exhibition, Global Pursuits, on September 6 and 7. A total of 220 Marriott hotels will be represented at the event, compared with 180 last year. The event will take place at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel.
n cheapflights.com reports 15% july rise
Budget flight specialist www.cheapflights.com has reported a 15% rise in visitors to the site to 515,000 last month. The company claims this represents a 50% increase on the same month last year.

On-line insurance provider RapidInsure.co.uk has introduced a group travel section on its site. The company has been receiving requests from people who want to buy a series of individual policies for a group of friends or family travelling together.
