ON THE MOVE:
n Amadeus has promoted Eberhard Haag to the post of general manager and senior vice-president of operations. He joined the company last January as deputy general manager of data processing. Haag replaces Helmut Semmler, who retired in June.n Belfast International Airport has appointed Mike Pearson as its new managing director. Pearson joined the airport as deputy managing director in May, following a 10-year stint with BAA.
n Chris Hutchings has been poached from Costa Cruises to take up the post of passenger manager at Fred Olsen Cruise Lines. Hutchings was operations manager at Costa for the past five years.
n Nathalie Lee has been appointed marketing assistant for Europe, the Middle East and Africa by Small Luxury Hotels of the World. She will work with regional manager Katrin Holtkott.
n Calotels Hotel Group has appointed Matthew Farrow as general manager of its Riviera Hotel in Bournemouth. The Riviera is due to be relaunched next month following a £4 million rebuilding project prompted by a fire last summer. Farrow was formerly operations manager at The Chesterwood Hotel in Bournemouth.
