take a break
This week we nominate a place – Club Aguamar in Majorca – to take a break. After 31 cases of the gastric illness cryptosporidium, JMC has rightly decided to ditch the property until it sorts itself out and will not be sending any more holidaymakers there this summer. JMC obviously has a good relationship with Club Aguamar – the hotel is one of the operator’s top sellers – but Cutting Edge feels it should have pulled out long ago. JMC says it can only act on medical advice and not be dictated to by the press. Anyway, at least JMC is out now and we hope Club Aguamar uses the time to thoroughly clean up its swimming pools.
