Air France has moved its operations at Manchester airport in a bid to be closer to Skyteam partner Delta.The five daily Air France flights between Manchester and Paris Charles de Gaulle, which are codeshares with Delta, will now depart from Terminal 2 not Terminal 1.

Thomascook.com is to offer a foreign-exchange facility to viewers of Telewest’s interactive TV service. Customers can use their remote controls to order overseas currency or traveller’s cheques around the clock. Deliveries will be made to their homes within 48 hours.
n accor uk gains eight hotels for ibis brand
Accor UK Economy Hotels has signed eight new hotels to its budget brand Ibis, bringing the total to 34. The hotels were previously operated under the Express by Holiday Inn banner and include properties in Barlborough, Derbyshire, Cardiff, Bradford Shipley, Rotherham and Lincoln.
n celebrity cruises halts four itineraries
Celebrity Cruises has been forced to cancel four Caribbean cruises on Millennium because the ship has to be withdrawn to fix a vibration problem (Travel Weekly, August 14).
Passengers booked on the four affected cruises between November 23 and December 17 will receive a full refund plus compensation. Agents’ payments will be protected.
