&#42 Amanda Willacy has been appointed general manager for Holiday Hypermarket in Preston. She was previously manager of Thomas Cook in Preston.

&#42 David Coltman has joined British Regional Air Lines as non-executive director following his roles as senior vice-president marketing at United Airlines and managing director at British Caledonian.

&#42 Universal Studios Port Aventura has appointed Mark Bateman as general manager for resort development and Jordi Mercade as general manager for hotels.

&#42 Christian Lepage has taken over from Pascal Saint-Pere as the new UK director at Maison de la France. Lepage was formerly director of Maison de la France in the Netherlands.

&#42 John Cotterill and Stuart Bailey have joined Sri Lankan Airlines as sales representatives to strengthen links with the trade and raise the airline’s profile. Cotterill joins from Holiday Hypermarket in Salford and Bailey was manager of Thomas Cook’s Camberley branch.

&#42 The Gleneagles Hotel has promoted Dorothy Welsh to the position of director of sales and marketing to assume overall responsibility for the hotel and golf business.
