The Quality Hotel Hull has become the firstQuality branded hotel in the UK to receive a Women Aware award from hotel booking service Expotel. The Women Aware award is presented to hotels which have a female friendly policy in terms of safety and amenities provided. Thetop 10 criteria that have to be met include well-lit car parks, discreet room allocation and the provision of a full-length mirror.
* millennium britannia mayfair shopping deals
London’s Millennium Britannia Mayfair has launched a range of shopping packages for its guests. The Silver, Gold and Platinum packages are designed to make the most of the hotel’s location close to Bond Street, Regent Street and Jermyn Street. Packages have a base cost of £200 per room, per night, including breakfast and VAT, based on two people sharing. The Platinum option includes limousine tours of exclusive shops, restaurants and galleries, for £250-£600 per person.

The Park SA Hilton in Istanbul is to reopen this month following a year-long revamp. The 119-room property is within walking distance of the Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will have two floors of business rooms, Hilton Meetings Services and a business centre. There will be a restaurant and rooftop bar with views of the city and the Bosphorous Strait.
