NCL to use two more GDSs
NORWEGIAN Cruise Line is to start selling its products through Amadeus and Worldspan, in addition to the other two leading global distribution suppliers Galileo and Sabre.
The company said it wanted to be on all four GDSs because each had its own strengths in different parts of the world and it wanted to extend its reach everywhere.
The Miami-based cruiseline has also signed a deal with Amadeus to provide an air and sea reservation system in the US. In the UK, NCL’s back-office systems are still supplied by Galileo.
