Midconsort adds electronic message service to Web site
MIDCONSORT Travel Group has created an electronic message board for agents using its Web site.
The members-only facility allows the organisation’s 200 agents to exchange information and advice on travel-related matters.
One agent posts a message to the site and then others send answers, all of which are displayed for members to read.
Managing director Mike Gates said travel agents were already posting an average of 30 messages a day to each other.
“It’s extremely active,” he said.
“They are helping each other with technology issues too. Midconsort agents are a very helpful group of people.”
