&#42 Alyson Playford has been appointed to the post of chief executive of Webweekends.co.uk. She most recently held the position of head of sales and marketing at Citalia and has also worked for Utell International (Pegasus Systems), Thomas Cook and Forte Hotels.

&#42 TTCTraining has appointed Alan Vickery as development manager. He joins from Going Places where he worked for seven years as special projects co-ordinator and project leader design.

&#42 Blythe Cockcroft has been appointed by JMCAirlines as cabin crew manager (North). She previously held the position of performance and standards co-ordinator and originally joined Flying Colours Airlines as a seniorpurser/trainer in 1996.

&#42 Hibba Bilal has joined Reed Travel Exhibitions as sales manager for Mediterranean Travel Fair. She previously worked for ITETravel Exhibitions, also holding the position of sales manager.

&#42 The Italian State Tourist Board has appointed Pio Trippa as general manager for northern Europe, which includes the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. He has previously run the Copenhagen, Madrid and New York offices for the ISTB.
