Home page: a lack of fancy graphics throughout this site, means that the pages are quick to download. The bright purple background on each page makes it look vibrant and attractive. The home page gives users two options depending on whether they are an employer (travel company) or job seeker (travel people).

With a chosen password they are able to access their CV to keep it updated as their circumstances change. Candidates can also fill in a summary form highlighting their skills and personal qualities which employers can access when doing their own candidate search. To find a job they can view the vacancies in specified fields such asbusiness travel and retail according tolocation and temporary and permanent positions.
Usefulness (for employers): employers can submit job descriptions via e-mail outlining the responsibilities, working hours and experience required. As well as advertising jobs on the site, they can also see what sort of candidates New Frontiers has registered by accessing the Search for Travel People page.
Additional services (for job seekers): in the Ask an Expert page, jobseekers are given advice about how to handle tricky interview questions and access New Frontiers’ Advice Line. The Job Fairs and Open Evenings page gives the low-down on all UK career fairs, while details of training courses and advice on training are given on the Train into Travel page. Travel jargon is demystified in the About the Travel Industry page.
Additional services (for employers): a monthly New Frontiers’ newsletter and details of human resources seminars and legal updates are given to all employers who register with New Frontiers. Advice on appraising staff, resolving work-related disputes and recruitment is given on the Ask and Expert page.

For candidates new to the UK there are links to sites giving advice on finding accommodation and living in London.
Useful links (for employers): the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service and Peninsula – the personnel, health andsafety employment law specialistsare just two of the links available to employers.
