&#42 Airport visitor centre reopens

The visitor centre at Munich Airport has reopened following £10m worth of improvements. The centre now includes ‘Dimension M’, an interactive information centre giving an insight into how aircraft are built and the logistics behind flight schedules.

&#42 institute puts wine information on-line

The German Wine Institute has developed a Web site dedicated to all aspects of German wine. It features information on festivals, grape varieties and vineyards, as well as links to other wine related sites. There are 13 wine-growing regions in Germany, each producing a different variety of wine. More details can be found at www.deutscheweine.de.

&#42 seaside group to open hotel in hamburg

The Seaside Group is to open its first five-star hotel in Hamburg in the first quarter of next year. The Side Hotel Hamburg will have 180 rooms, suites and conference facilities for up to 300 people and a100-seat restaurant serving Euro-Asian cuisine.
