Wallace Arnold puts focus on tours for 2001

COACH operator Wallace Arnold has added a range of new tours across Europe and the UK to its summer 2001 brochures.

The Leeds-based company has also frozen prices at this year’s levels and has increased departures during the autumn and spring in order to meet increasing demand.

Marketing manager Gordon Durrans said both brochures – Jersey, Ireland and Britain and Explore Europe – have been redesigned in order to give greater prominence to its major selling points including free pick-ups at 1,600 locations throughout the UK.

“The brochures have been designed to appear more attractive and eye catching on the shelves,” he said.

New European tours include a 13-day Classical France tour taking in Avignon, Nimes, Arles and Dijon, while in the UK, a seven-day package to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly has been added.

European prices lead in at £243 per person for a five-day tour of Paris and Versailles including half-board at the Holiday Inn Garden Court in the French capital.

In the UK, prices start from £189 for a five-day tour taking in Exmouth and the South Devon coast.
