Consortia make plea to operators
Advantage, ARTACand Midconsort members are to ask operators to sign agreements to say they will pay tactical commissions within eight weeks.
The move is an effort to help solve cash-flow problems. Tactical commissions are paid to agents on an ad-hoc basis so they can compete with the discounts offered by the multiples.
Midconsort managing director Mike Gates said: “We need to put pressure on operators.”
