COSMOS hopes to kick-start winter season sales by offering
customers major discounts in its new PriceBeaters brochure.
Savings up to 20% are available on main current Winter Sun,
Golden Times, Tropical Paradise and Florida brochures. Adult discounts are
available for the first time when the booking includes a child price.
Paul Riches, Cosmos sales and marketing director, said: “We
have chosen to launch our discounted brochure as we move into the traditional
lates selling period for early season winter departures. This is when the
market picks up generally and is therefore the optimum time to launch a
brochure of this type.”
With discount, child prices lead in at just £29 for seven
nights self-catering in Benidorm while adult prices lead in at £79 per person.
The A5 sized brochure covers departures between November
2000 and April 2001.
A new feature is a ‘Golden Times’ selection aimed at the
over 55’s market. Also new is a ‘Take Your Pick’ selection of named accommodation,
predominantly long haul but also including some short haul destinations.
Again featured is the ‘Cosmos Selection’, enabling customers
to select destination and board arrangements from a group of featured hotels,
apartments or aparthotels at one low price with the guarantee they will be
allocated into one of those specified properties.
