Travel Weekly and OAG sponsor top award

TRAVEL Weekly and directories publisher OAG is sponsoring the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association’s travel agency of the year award for the fifth year running.

Held in high regard as the most prestigious award for Scottish travel agents, the accolade for the travel agency of the year in 1999 went to Glasgow-based Scotia Travel. OAG trade sales manager Jackie Anderson said: “We are delighted to be co-sponsoring this award for the fifth year running. It’s the most prestigious award for Scottish travel agents to win.”

Nominees are voted for by a range of suppliers from every aspect of the travel industry. The criteria for nomination includes professionalism, product awareness and rapport with suppliers.
