Midlands Co-op recruits Povey
MIDLANDS Co-op has appointed former Lunn Poly customer innovations director Peter Povey as commercial manager.
Povey will start his new role in January. He left his role at the multiple in March as Thomson Travel Group looked to reshape its business.
“This is an exciting time to be joining Midlands Co-op Travel,” he said.
“Shops all across the Midlands are taking on a new look and the business is well advanced in its development of the Internet through its holiday auctions site,” said Povey.
Midlands Co-op Travel currently operates 85 retail travel shops, six business travel centres, a direct sales operation, a specialist Internet holiday auction business and coach tours operation, Albion Holiday.
