TV TRAVEL Shop is to recruit up to 40 reservations staff to work from home.

The channel’s call centre in Bromley, Kent has reached its capacity with up to 400 people working in the building.

Former homeworking consultant Lindsey Herbert has been appointed general manager for the new virtual response centres, with responsibility for recruiting and managing the consultants.

She said: “People wanting to book from the channel will have a number which will connect to the call centre or a homeworker.”
