Bridge hires new staff to handle agents’ accounts

Bridge Travel has appointed two new sales staff as part of its plans to improve the day-to-day handling of agents’ accounts.

Former Holiday Autos sales executive Kelly Baillie joins in the new position of key account manager while Bridge’s hotel payments supervisor Jay Stringer has been promoted to account executive.

The new recruits will work with account executives Mike Lyons and Gary Rankin, sales manager Helen Rankin and newly appointed director of sales John Bellenger.

The new appointments follow the promotion of sales director Alan Croft to the position of deputy managing director.

Meanwhile, Bridge has also promoted London Travel Service brand manager Trevor Worth to the position of general manager of Bridge Travel Scandinavia.

He has been replaced by Peter Brooks who was previously a consultant business development manager for Greatdays Travel Group.

Part of Brooks’ job will be to promote the Millennium Dome packages this year.
