n avro introduces new destinations
Avro has added four new routes for winter 2000: Leeds Bradford and East Midlands to Alicante; Cardiff to Faro; and Birmingham to Fuerteventura. Winter prices start at £125 per person for a return flight from Cardiff to Faro.
n monarch launches booking incentive
Monarch is supporting the launch of its new scheduled services from Manchester to the Spanish cities of Malaga and Alicante in May 2000 with a booking incentive for agents. For every one-way passenger booked during January, February and March, agents will be entered into a prize draw with six prizes on offer.
n club travel 2000 adds new flights
Club Travel 2000 has added flights to Palma, Majorca; Faro, Portugal; and Mahon, Minorca; from Manchester for summer 2000. Fares on all three routes start at £169 per person return. Also new are flights from Newcastle to Malaga and Bournemouth to Tenerife from this summer. In addition, the operator has introduced open return Flexi-Tickets to Tenerife from Gatwick and Manchester.
n cosmos flights feature kefalonia
Cosmos Flight has introduced flights from Gatwick to the Greek island of Kefalonia for summer 2000, with prices starting at £199 per person for 14 nights from September 26. Also new from the operator are seats in Monarch Airlines’ premium cabin on flights to Florida from Gatwick and Manchester, which cost from £439 per person return.
