THIRD quarter results issued by Continental Airlines have
shown earnings per share of £1.50.
Other highlights of the results show:
* Third quarter earnings have increased 56% over the same
period in 1999 (before an extraordinary charge);
* Net income standing at £91.3 million (excluding an
extraordinary charge for early debt repayment);
* Passenger revenue rose to £1.6 billion;
* Revenue per available seat mile increased 11%;
* E-ticket sales now represent 54% of total sales.
