AIR
ARUBA has ceased operations because of financial difficulties.
The
board of directors took the decision to stop services on October 23. The
Government of Aruba, which has a 30% stake in the airline, pledged all
customers with tickets to travel on Air Aruba would get passage home.
A number of other airlines have stepped in to ensure
there is no gap in service to the Caribbean island.
