&#42 numbers rise for ABta delegates

ABTA is taking between 10 and 15 bookings per day for the ABTA conference in Kos, which starts on Friday. As Travel Weekly went to press, ABTA said it had taken bookings from 1,742 delegates.

&#42 caa figures see rise in on-time flights

According to Civil Aviation Authority figures 71% of scheduled flights were on time during the three months from April to June. The proportion of on-time charter flights rose from 45% last year to 52% this year, but the average delay remained at 40 minutes. The delay for scheduled airlines was 14 minutes.

&#42 airline takes action over landing charges

Air NewZealand has filed legal proceedings against Auckland International Airport over rises in landing charges. It follows talks between airlines and the airport. In August Auckland International Airport announced multiple increases in landing charges starting from September 1 this year.
