ARTAC Worldchoice picks Cyprus for conference
ARTACWorldchoiceis set to hold its first international conference next year.
The event, taking place in Limassol, Cyprus, is only the second Worldchoice conference to be held overseas, since the Jersey conference last year.
Next year’s event will be held between March 30 and April 2, however the theme and speakers are yet to be confirmed. Cyprus has been chosen due to its growing popularity as a holiday destination and because it is a more cost-effective choice than this year’s convention, which was held in Birmingham.
A spokeswoman said:”The reasonable price has allowed us to go abroad for the first time. A lot of agents said they would prefer to go to Cyprus because they could spend some leisure time there as well as work at the event.”
More than 500 confirmations have already been received and Worldchoice predicts the Cyprus event may be one of its most popular conferences ever.
A lead-in price of £235 per person includes three nights’ accommodation as well as all conference meals and an entertainment programme.
