First Choice Ski cuts prices by 30%

FIRST Choice Ski has dropped prices by 30% and introduced a range of special offers for the winter 2000/2001 season.

The operator has decided against launching a preview brochure in favour of its first full-edition brochure for the season.

Marketing and planning director for ski, lakes and mountains Adrian Harwood said he expects the market to be down 7% for 1999/2000 on the previous year, but increase by 5% for 2000/2001.

New offers for next season include a Total Ski package of equipment hire, ski passes, tuition and meals for a lead-in price of £299 per person.

Other offers include £100 off per couple on selected departures, free child places on all dates except new year and half-term departures and 10% discount on ski packs.

The operator has also introduced free holidays in April 2000 for large party group leaders and special offers for the month, highlighted as Snow Choice, with prices from £189 for seven nights’ half-board in France or Austria.
