* monarch crown service cuts prices
Monarch Crown Service is offering up to 18% off the fare of scheduled flights to Alicante, Gibraltar, Malaga, Minorca and Tenerife. The sale ends on November 7 and applies to a number of selected dates of travel in November and December. Prices start from £102 per person for a return fare to Malaga from Luton. * aer arann express launches dublin flight
Aer Arann Express is to launch a weekday return daily service between Sheffield and Dublin from November 1. Fares start at £56 plus taxes for a return flight.
* passenger rise for east midlands airport
East Midlands Airport recorded its highest-ever passenger numbers last month. In total 268,069 passengers passed through, a 4.2% increase on the same month last year. The rise is attributed to the arrival of new operators, such as Virgin Sun and Direct Holidays and the expansion of JMC’s programme.
