Time to treat managerslike adults
I am writing regarding the Letter of the Week (Travel Weekly October 23)regarding bad management at Thomas Cook.
After spending several months thinking that myself and my circle of managers were the only people in despair over the way we have been treated by the hierarchy at Thomas Cook, it was extremely refreshing to find this appears to be the general consensus of opinion, in our region at least.
Let me reassure the author of this letter that they are not alone in being belittled in front of their employees or in being made to feel as though they are still at school and are completely incompetent of running the branches they were appointed to manage.
So do us all a favour, let us manage our branches with your full trust and support.
In return, if you treat us like adults, we will do our best to deliver positive results.
