Manny makes it clear: staff are important
I HAVE until now managed to restrain myself from commenting on the minorities within Thomas Cook, who despite the best efforts from Manny and his team, seem determined to create bad feeling within the company.
As a manager, I find it hard to believe that some of my colleagues cannot go through the normal channels open to them if they have a grievance about their superiors.
They are unhappy about being asked to take down weekend posters on Tuesday.
I am sorry, but if that’s the state of their window on Tuesday the regional sales manager has every right to comment and advise them on the shop’s appearance.
Manny has sent letter after letter about contacting him on anything they wish.
He has made it clear his staff are the important people. I am sure I write for the majority of managers who are motivated by our colleagues in head office.
A happy Thomas Cook manager
