* air canada offers trade flight discounts
AirCanada is offering special rates on return flights exclusively for trade and airline industry staff. Flights to Toronto and Montreal are being offered at £139 per person compared to £189. Flights to Vancouver are being offered at £199 per person return. The offer is valid for departures in November.
* olympic airways adds athens flight
Olympic Airways is set to boost the frequency of its direct non-stop service between Manchester and Athens – just five months into operation. The service will be increased from twice to thrice weekly with services now running on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays.

United Airlines has hired Alison Espley to the position of sales manager for the UK and Ireland. Espley will be taking up her new post this week and will be responsible for all aspects of the airline’s sales.
