P&O Cruises launches 2002 brochure early
P&OCruises has launched its 2002 world cruise brochure a month earlier than usual to try to attract new cruisers.
Sales and marketing director Carol Marlow said the early launch would allow existing customers time to have a proper look through the brochure, while new cruisers will have longer to decide what they want to do.
The two world cruises are between January and April 2002, on the Aurora and Oriana – one cruise ship travelling east and the other west.
Passengers can take the full 90-day or 92-day itineraries or choose a half cruise, from or to Australia or New Zealand. “There is also a boomerang cruise, where passengers can sail out to Australia on the Oriana and come back on the Aurora,” said Marlow.
Prices for both cruises start at £8,272 with an early-booking discount of 35%. Passengers who book before December 16 will get up to £750 on-board credit.
* P&OCruises is offering clients the chance to combine classical music with historical sites on its 14-night Classical Lands flycruise. The cruise departs Thessaloniki on November 17 with prices from £1,744 per person.
