* P&0 Portsmouth extends french tour
P&O Portsmouth has extended its two-night Classic French Experience tour to Honfleur, Mont St Michel or Rouen over the Christmas period for clients looking for shopping with a difference. The tour costs from £49 per person which includes return overnight ferry travel from Portsmouth to Le Havre, for Rouen and Honfleur, or from Portsmouth to Cherbourg, for Mont St Michel. The price also includes a coach transfer, guided tour, lunch in a French restaurant and time for shopping before the transfer back to the ferry. The tours will run until March 31.
* travelscene adds new fast-ferry service
Travelscene has added the new fast-ferry service from Poole to Cherbourg to its 2001 Drivetimeshort-break programme, due out at the end of the month. Brittany Ferries’ fast service, which starts next May and is operated by Condor Ferries, takes the number of programme departure points to eight, serving 11 continental gateways. The brochure includes Eurotunnel and ferry crossings. Properties in Burgundy and the Loire have also been added.
