P&O reports rise in profits
P&O PRINCESS Cruises has reported an 8% increase in operating profit to £132.2million in the third quarter to September 30.
The result was despite a £4.2 million increase in fuel costs and a £2.1 million loss due to the exchange rate. Princess reported a successful summer in Alaska and Europe. UK business increased by 45%.
