BA to hold seminars to explain service charges

Report by John Lavabre

BRITISH Airways is running a number of extra seminars to
explain its new service fees to travel agents.

The sessions have been arranged due to demand from agents
and are being held by Canadian service fees expert Nolan Burris. BA, which will
introduce the fees on April 1 2001, held a number of other seminars on the
subject earlier this year.

There will be two seminars a day at the following venues: Radisson
Edwardian, Heathrow, on January 8, the Copthorne Tara, Kensington, on January
9, the Copthorne Manchester on January 10 and the Glasgow Grosvenor Hilton on
January 11.
