VIRGIN Travelstore, the travel retail arm of the Virgin
Group which is due to launch next week, has completed its senior management portfolio
with the appointment of two new directors.
Katie Handley is now marketing director and Carol Smallman
is commercial director. Both had been working as management consultants for Virgin
Travelstore before being offered permanent positions with the company.
Virgin Travelstore will offer package holidays from all the
major tour operators as well as independent travel goods and services. They will
be available through Virgin’s 120 V Shops, as well as through digital
television, Teletext and the Internet.
