AIR services across the UK have today been disrupted by
heavy snow that has fallen across much of the country.
Some flights from Heathrow have been cancelled because one
runway has been closed while it is cleared of snow. There are currently no
flights from Luton or Glasgow. East Midlands airport has been shut down
although a spokesman said it should be open by early afternoon.
Gatwick airport was closed between 6am and 7.30am and is reporting
“minor” delays to operations as a knock on effect.
