Aer Lingus to code share with BA

Report by John Lavabre

AER LINGUS has signed a code share agreement with British
Airways on flights between Newcastle and Dublin.

The agreement follows Aer Lingus’ decision to withdraw from
the route on March 24 following the phasing out of the Fokker 50 aircraft.

From March 25, BA subsidiary Brymon Airways will operate
flights between the two destinations. The number of flights to Dublin will
increase to three a day.
